I simply built a new desktop computer and moved a 4TB hard bulldoze from my old system to this one to use as my storage bulldoze. I have an SSD for my operating system. Since my old system couldn't meet anything larger than 2TB, I didn't worry well-nigh it every bit I knew I'd be building this new system.

Anyhow, I have been trying to reformat this 4TB drive into a single patition. I understand that in guild to practise this, I need to change from MBR to GBT. For the life of me, I tin't seem to figure out how to do this. When I bring upwardly the disk management window, I can delete the partition but come across no style to change to the GBT and so I can make one 4TB patition.

Any aid would be appreciated.

In the Deejay Management windows right-click on the row header, where the "Disk X" text is, and select "Convert to GPT deejay". THIS Will KILL ALL Information ON THE DISK!
